You Know You Want a #TruckerBurger

The enhanced 2016 Chevrolet Silverado is Finding New Roads with SALT

DUBAI – Chevrolet and SALT, one of Dubai’s most sought after food concepts, have partnered to bring the #TruckerBurger to burger aficionados across the United Arab Emirates.

Inspired by the enhanced 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, the #TruckerBurger, will be availed to consumers at exclusive SALT events across the UAE. Showcasing the Silverado’s towing capabilities, the truck will be finding new roads as it takes SALT to various stops outside of their three permanent UAE destinations, including Kite Beach, Dubai, Mushrif Park, Abu Dhabi and Marina promenade, Ajman.

The #TruckerBurger will only be available at the Silverado and SALT locations, and staying true to the Silverado will feature a bigger patty and bun than the traditional SALT burgers.

At these events, consumers will also be given a taste of the truck owner lifestyle. Specific locations will also include off-roading areas where drivers can test-drive the Silverado, enjoy live music and experience the truck owner lifestyle.

Each event is free for the public to attend, and to find out where Chevrolet and SALT will be headed next, consumers can search #TruckerBurger on Instagram and by following @ChevroletArabia & @FindSalt.

Fans of SALT can also suggest their own locations in the UAE they want the Silverado to bring the #TruckerBurger by following these 3 steps:

  • Post a picture on Instagram
  • Geo-tag the location you want SALT and Silverado to visit
  • Add #TruckerBurger

A few lucky people will have their request fulfilled by having the Silverado tow SALT directly to the location suggestion.

“SALT has a tremendous local following in the UAE and we saw this partnership as an excellent opportunity to not only showcase the capability of the Silverado, but also highlight the trucker owner lifestyle,” Abdallah Madhoun, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Chevrolet, GM Middle East. “After the Silverado and SALT experience, we are confident that consumers will be saying ‘you know I want a truck.’”

“SALT is an adventurous brand with a strong lifestyle movement and Chevrolet has proved to be a great partner which supports this. We are not a food truck, we can’t drive ourselves and we want to be approachable and find new roads to reach our SALTERS. This is the first time we have introduced a burger just for the guys and at the same time the Trucker Burger caters to the season which is best enjoyed outdoors, hence it is exclusively available at our event locations,” Amal Al Marri, co-founder of SALT.
