The enhanced 2016 Chevrolet Silverado is Finding New Roads with SALT

DUBAI – Chevrolet and SALT, one of Dubai’s most sought after food concepts, have partnered to bring the #TruckerBurger to burger aficionados across the United Arab Emirates.

Inspired by the enhanced 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, the #TruckerBurger, will be availed to consumers at exclusive SALT events across the UAE. Showcasing the Silverado’s towing capabilities, the truck will be finding new roads as it takes SALT to various stops outside of their three permanent UAE destinations, including Kite Beach, Dubai, Mushrif Park, Abu Dhabi and Marina promenade, Ajman.

The #TruckerBurger will only be available at the Silverado and SALT locations, and staying true to the Silverado will feature a bigger patty and bun than the traditional SALT burgers.

At these events, consumers will also be given a taste of the truck owner lifestyle. Specific locations will also include off-roading areas where drivers can test-drive the Silverado, enjoy live music and experience the truck owner lifestyle.

The 2016 Silverado Light Duty is built on Chevy Trucks’ legacy of dependability, and is engineered to be stronger, smarter and more capable than ever before. It features a trio of EcoTec3 engines – a V-6 and two V-8s, a quieter and more comfortable cab, a refined interior with connectivity, improved ride and handling and ingenious solutions for managing cargo in the bed.

Silverados equipped with the 4.3L V-6 has towing ratings up to 3,447 kg, the highest for any base V-6 in the segment. Silverados equipped with the 5.3L V-8 and the max towing package have towing ratings of up to 4,264 kg, which is more than any light-duty pickup currently on the market.

The 2016 Silverado Light Duty pickups are available in unique trim levels, from a Work Truck (WT) to the premium level, High Country.
